The 100th Anniversary of World War One: Boys to Men

In World War One, the youngest British soldier was reported as only 12 years-old, although the official average age of the British Tommy was 19.

Self-portrait in my cadet No.2 service dress taken 30 years ago.

I was only 15 and just starting to shave more than once a month.

I have never served in the full military, but those that have, and do, continue to receive my full respect.

Lest We Forget.
